About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Foreman to lead the HVAC division in Hawke’s Bay.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the primary objective of this role is to oversee and organise the day-to-day operations of each site with the support of the Contracts Manager. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial and industrial clients.

Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day site operations.
• Organise and manage day-to-day project activities, resources, staff, trades, and subcontractors for each project.
• Supervise work and conduct all HVAC personnel while on site, with support of the Contracts Manager.
• Review and interpret specifications, plans, drawings, and designs.
• Coordinate various HVAC work according to priorities and plans.
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, supervisors, and site managers.
• Liaise with customers, with the support of the Contracts Manager.
• Undertake comprehensive site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Work with the Health & Safety Representative to ensure that all Health and Safety documentation pertaining to each job is completed to the required standard and that the business upholds compliance.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met and ensure Health & Safety is prioritised.
• Supervise, train, and upskill Labourers and Apprentices.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
• Complete paperwork to a high standard and on time.
Requirements
• Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
• Experienced as a qualified HVAC Technician.
• A track record of success in a relevant leadership role.
• Competency across all HVAC design and build installations and able to interpret design documents, specifications, and drawings.
• A full EST Licence desired but not crucial.
