Are you a talented digital communications specialist?

We're looking for an experienced and creative digital advisor to build online engagement and connect with our community through our various channels. The role, which encompasses both digital and traditional channels, offers an exciting opportunity for someone innovative, high-energy, and ready to hit the ground running.

As a communications professional, you'll manage the council's digital channels and use your strong writing and photography/videography skills to create accurate and engaging content.

This is a rewarding and varied position in a busy communications team. The role enhances the council's reputation through visual and written storytelling. From social media and print advertising to radio and everything in between, you'll champion our brand for the organisation.

 •  Fiordland and Rakiura Stewart Island as well as the beautiful Catlins on its doorstep.

 •  two hours to Queenstown, three to Wanaka and one to the Catlins.

Our communications team delivers the full range of strategic and tactical communication functions, including managing conventional and digital channels, events, internal communications, external communications/reputation and news media management, promotions and marketing, and campaign delivery.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering an initial remuneration in the range of $73,350.-$77,425.
