Sustainable HB- Centre for Climate and Resilience is a charitable trust and has been in the Hawke's Bay community for 30+ years. Our vision is “a resilient, connected community with strong local regenerative food systems, restored biodiversity, and a circular economy within Hawke’s Bay social and ecological planetary boundaries”.

We work across Biodiversity restoration, healthy restored rivers, community resilience, food resilience, community energy, water security, and donut economy.

The Role

Our previous Partnerships manager has moved into the Operations Manager role. We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join the team and to help us further develop and grow impact in our communities.

This role is responsible for (with the help of volunteers):

 •  Growing our partnerships and funding strategy for the long term
 •  Diversifying our funding channels
 •  Managing relationships between Sustainable HB and key funders, including; sponsors, corporate partners, donors, councils, government and other funders.
 •  Managing a programme of grants, donation campaigns, membership programmes, fundraising events, and other revenue generation tasks as required. This will also be supported by a team of volunteers.
 •  Donor acquisition and management- Creating opportunities to secure new key partnerships with corporate partners, local government, central government and donors. Stewardship and retention of existing key partners and donors.
 •  work collaboratively with the Impact investment manager
 •  growing volunteer capability to help within the fundraising and partnerships portfolio

You will have:

 •  Minimum 5 years working in the for-purpose sector
 •  Strong grant writing experience with a track record of success
 •  Strong written and spoken communication skills;
 •  Good at building relationships and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders;
