Driver - Class 2 Operator - Wellington

We are looking for a motivated Driver - Class 2 Operator to join our Wellington based team.

About the role
You will be part of a team maintaining our clients’ green spaces.
Tasks will be varied and will include:
• Operation of a compactor
• Manual sweeping hard to reach areas
• Emptying litter bins from roads, the CBD, town centres, minor shopping areas & bus shelters
• Collection of bagged refuse and recycling.
• Collection and disposal of loose litter from footpaths, kerb and channel and other areas as required.
• Collect Illegal dumping when required.
Hours of work will be 4.00 am to 1.00 pm, Monday to Friday with overtime when required.
About you
The successful person will have:
• Relevant experience operating a Compactor Driver,
• Full Class 2 drivers licence essential and ability to drive a manual vehicle,
• Be physically fit and mobile, able to do physical work,
• Have a commitment to health and safety,
