We are looking for a new member to join our team at Palm Landscapes. Specifically we need someone with experience operating small excavators.
We are a small but growing landscaping company that offers the full breadth of landscaping services in the Nelson and Tasman region. We specialize in low maintenance designs and bespoke one of a kind creations.
Full time role available.
Requirements:
• Experience operating excavators
• Class 1 drivers license
• Some form of landscaping or building experience
• Solid work ethic
• Valid work visa
• Live local to Nelson
Skills we value:
• A passion for working outside and creating awesome outdoor spaces for people to enjoy
• Experience with landscaping machinery (diggers, loaders, tipping trucks etc) and power tools
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Good plant knowledge (ornamental, native, weeds etc)
• People skills when facing clients directly
What we can offer:
• Full time employment with a pay rate suitable to the candidates experience (will also consider a part time or casual role)
• A regular pay rise structure to suit an employees progression and commitment
• Training in machinery and tools (including industry certifications)
• Training in plant knowledge and earth science
• Training in landscaping construction (from decking, paving, drainage and walls to lawns, gardens, planters and irrigation)
• Relevant PPE and uniform
