 •  About the teamThe Legal team directly supports the Chief Ombudsman.

This team is responsible for all legal advice and services in the Office of the Ombudsman.
Most of the legal work involves supporting the Ombudsman's core functions (including under the Ombudsmen Act 1975, the Official Information Act 1982, the Crimes of Torture Act 1989 and the Protected Disclosures Act 2000), but the team is also responsible for legal input into corporate and governance matters.Mō te tūranga
 •  About the roleThe Legal Administration Officer provides administrative services required to support the successful delivery of legal services by the Legal team.This includes coordination, planning, tracking work, reporting, data entry and analysis, and email and diary management.You also may be required to provide similar types of support for other teams in the office as work volumes and demand permit and require.
