No Experience or Qualification
Key Requirements: Leadership skill are required
Ability to commute/relocate
Key Responsibilities of the role:
• Lead the team members in harvesting fruits and other vegetable/plant produces
• Supervise team members in selecting and picking/harvesting ripe fruits and vegetables
• Train and mentor team members on proper technique, equipment usage and safety procedures
• Allocate appropriate tasks to team members and manage the team to get maximum utilization from team members
• Liaison with the director and clients to provide update and discuss any issues and queries
• Ensure manager is kept fully informed of the day to say developments within the business
• Provide leadership to the teams acting as a positive role model in a senior capacity
• Provide close support to the team leaders and provide advice they may require
• Work closely with management in regards to recruitment and ensure that each team leader is below is not under too much pressure
• Ensure staff performance is at an optimum level
• Handle any tricky situations to assist team leaders if they require assistance
• Monitor workers to detect inefficient or unsafe work procedures or to identify problems, initiating corrective action as necessary.
• Plan and supervise infrastructure or collection maintenance functions.
• Assist management in any personnel decision making.
• Ensure all teams are complying with employment and health and safety regulations.
• Take responsibility in resolving queries regarding contract rates, payslips and payment disputes.
• Ensure all timesheets handed by team leaders at the end of the day are accurate
• Any other related tasks may be assigned from time to time as assigned by the employ
• Take responsibility for monitoring the daily operation on work sites
• Record and maintain job site activities
