We seek a motivated, organized and supportive educator to work with youth and young adults re-engaging in their education. Previous experience teaching/tutoring at level 1 & 2 of the NZQA framework or an industry qualification/experience is preferred but not a requirement.
Ideal applicant will demonstrate:
• Excellent relationship building and self-management skills
• Patience, resilience, adaptability, empathy and tolerance
• They are a team player that adds positively to an established team
• A positive role model that can motivate and inspire vulnerable people to achieve to their potential
• The ability to connect with a range of cultures
• Strong communication skills
• High expectations of themselves and others
Applicants must have a full drivers license, be able to pass vetting requirements for working with vulnerable children, and be drug free.
