An established, growing company in Wanaka is looking for a Graduate Cloud SysAdmin / IT Support Analyst to help trouble-shoot & solve problems for users with a smile :-) You'll also help with lots of new projects including cabling, new server & network design, utilising the Azure Cloud and have a security focus
Good basic Microsoft Windows OS / 365 knowledge including 365? Good, friendly communication skills to answer the phone & help users?
Have excellent written & verbal English to be able to deal with non-technical users and be hands-on with desktop support & hardware issues
What you'll bring:
• BSc in Computer Science or BEng, BCom, BA or similar degree
• At least 3-6 months commercial Microsoft Windows OS / 365 experience
• Experience working in 1st /2nd line support ie desktop support experience ie AD / Azure Endpoints or similar
• Happy to learn in-house software applications and support these
• Basic understanding of security (phishing etc) and happy to help educate users
• Happy to pick up the phone & help users
• Happy to roll up your sleeves including cabling, desktop & hardware support
• Great attitude & positive approach
• Enjoy solving technical problems
• Good communication + written English & documentation skills
