It will include working in areas of Outpatients, acuteinpatients and rehabilitation ward.
This well supported placement will give youan insight into the opportunities available to you as a Physiotherapist within HealthNZ Nelson Marlborough.You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinaryteam providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planningthrough a patient-centred approach.
This role requires you to be adaptable tochange, resourceful and flexible to service needs.Based at Nelson Hospital, this is a full-time roleworking 80 hours per fortnight, providing care across a continuum frominpatients to outpatients.Ko wai he kaitono tōtika?
(Who is an appropriate applicant?)This position is suitable fornew graduates or more experienced therapists.
Youwill be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with clinical assessment and problem-solvingskills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously andcollaboratively.
You will have excellent communication skills to liaise withhealth professionals and health agencies.
We are looking for a clinician who has a genuine passion forworking with clientsacross the continuum and who values being part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The successfulcandidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa atthe time of applying.
