Description

We require an experienced welder to help with our Fleet at Total Infrastructure Limited and for the subsidiary AVR mechanics Ltd. You will be managing the on-site and off-site fleet repair works. This fast-paced, quick-thinking environment will require our successful candidate to be someone with an outside-the-box, can do attitude so we can keep our team on site working safely and efficiently.
Must be qualified to undertake welding works on excavators, rollers, trucks and other heavy fleet.

Tasks and responsibilities:
 •  Weld, manipulate and fit metal parts to equipment and machinery.
 •  Ability to use hand and power tools including welders, grinders and drills in a safe manner.
 •  Display proficiency in preventative, reactive and on-going maintenance where applicable.
 •  Work in collaboration with contractors and other trade professionals where required.
 •  Follow all relevant workplace health and safety guidelines.
 •  Perform routine maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedule.

The successful applicant:
 •  Relevant work experience is a must.
 •  Experience in all types of heavy machinery.
 •  Physically strong and fit.
 •  Technically advanced in machine repairs and maintenance.
 •  Flexible with night and day shift hours.
 •  Ability to work well in a team environment.
 •  Will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and drug test.
 •  Must have good health + safety awareness.
 •  Weld, manipulate and fit metal parts to equipment and machinery
