An exciting opportunity have been created for an experienced Spa Therapist to join our team at Abstract Hotel and Residences situated at 8 Upper Queen Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010. This mixed-use 273 bed hotel is unlike any other, featuring a private bar exclusive for guests, a restaurant, a luxury spa Sa-Ni, winter garden, co-working spaces and so much more.

Our state-of-the-art spa, designed by award-winning Macintosh Harris, surrounds you with a calming environment in earthy tones, and modern amenities to provide the most relaxing experience possible. We like to think of Sa-Ni as a haven, the first of its kind and truly world-class.
We offer a twin therapy suite, 4 single treatment rooms and a deluxe suite. Our wet treatment room with Jacuzzi and herbal sauna for larger groups is perfect for a hens’ party or birthday.
This is a Full time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a wage offering between $29 - $31 per hour.
Duties include:
Great interpersonal skills you will ensure a welcoming and relaxed environment.
Perform a variety of spa treatments including massages, body treatments, facials, and other aesthetic services.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the spa area, treatment rooms, and equipment.
Keep abreast of current trends in the industry and continually update skills and knowledge.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, and etiquette.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing guest profiles
Maintain good working relationships with the team and foster a positive environment.
You must create a spa experience that is unique and unforgettable.
You must have great organisational skills
Able to problem solve and make decisions.
Be able to manage, monitor and analysis feedback accordingly.
Flexible with regards to work hours to fit around the daily operations and event demands
Understanding of current Health & Safety obligations, ensuring the Spa is fully compliant to the SOP's, Policies, procedures, and service standards.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a spa role
