About the role

We are recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our operations team. In this role, you will engage directly with internal clients and collaborate with other members of the Datacom teams to provide support for technology-based solutions.
As a Senior System Engineer, your responsibilities will include managing Datacom’s technical infrastructure, which encompasses corporate hardware and software. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in delivering corporate systems for the Datacom Business.

We are seeking individuals who exhibit common sense and professionalism, work well as team players, thrive under pressure with minimal supervision, and can showcase exceptional problem-solving abilities. A passion for continuous learning is also highly valued.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and who wants to be part of the wider Datacom machine, supporting users as a senior. Strong communication and customer service skills are key in this role. In addition to this, you will be:

 •  All rounder on Microsoft products
 •  Experience in managing Entra ID and M365
 •  On premises Active Directory
 •  Exchange and Exchange online understanding and experience
 •  VPN and networking knowledge
 •  Solid infrastructure knowledge and understanding
 •  Strong understanding of backup technology and VMware
 •  Experience in managing hardware and software assets
 •  Intune
 •  Excellent troubleshooting skills
