Paediatric Physiotherapist Community SettingFull Time / Part TimeLeading Rehabilitation ProviderAuckland LocationAs part of growth and meeting continued demand strategy, ABI Community Services has an opportunity for a Physiotherapist with experience in paediatrics.
We are a leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation in NZ and an accredited provider of community-based rehabilitation for children and adults with a range of conditions including brain injury, neuro-developmental challenges, cerebral palsy, multi-trauma, cognitive and sensory issues.Key clinical roles include community-based rehabilitation of clients to facilitate return to pre-injury activities, or to achieve their developmental potential, including provision of any equipment needs and training of family and other carers.

We have a strong client and family/whānau focus. Our base is in Massey, however our clinicians spend the majority of their time seeing clients across the wider Auckland region in their homes, schools/ pre-schools, and other relevant settings.You would be working in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment alongside occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, clinical psychologists, dietitians, registered nurses and social workers.

You would also have the opportunity to contribute to rehabilitation service planning and promotion, and training and development of fellow team members.The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Health Science- Physiotherapy (or equivalent), a current NZ annual practicing certificate and a minimum of four years' paediatric experience.We require a high standard of work and in return offer you excellent opportunities for professional development and a great team environment.
