We're on the hunt for driven and dependable individuals to oversee our apple production operations.
As Foreperson, you'll be entrusted with translating weekly plans into actionable strategies, ensuring top-notch quality while continuously refining processes to enhance efficiency. You'll also be at the helm of directing our spraying teams, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the health and vitality of our orchards.
Live outside Gisborne? Relocation assistance is on the table for the right candidate.
Working hand in hand with our management team, you'll breathe life into plans, ensuring they're executed flawlessly while prioritizing safety every step of the way.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A strong grasp of health and safety protocols, with a commitment to putting safety first
• Ideally, a National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 qualification or a dedication to pursuing certification
• The ability to transform management directives into tangible results, maintaining efficiency and order throughout tasks
• Proficiency in leading spraying teams, coupled with a solid understanding of agrichemicals and machinery
• A knack for monitoring and reporting labour costs to management
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to motivate diverse teams to achieve predefined standards
