Sabeto Transport is looking for a keen applicant to join our busy modern workshop.
Sabeto is a 100% locally owned business. We are a stable well-established company, with more than 20 years in the industry. We pride ourselves on delivering an efficient and friendly service to all our customers. We are seeking a full time qualified heavy diesel mechanic, to lead our existing team of mechanics and auto electricians.
We currently operate a modern fleet of 50+ vehicles/machines - 4 wheel tippers, 6 wheelers, 8 wheelers and articulated trucks and trailers as well as excavators and other heavy earth moving equipment.

Ideally you will be:
• A trained and experienced Diesel mechanic (3 years min), to service and maintain our fleet.
• Experienced in hydraulics and mechanical diagnostics.
• A highly motivated person with the ability to self-manage as well as supervise others.
• Well organised and able to plan in advance.
• Able to maintain service sheets and have good writing skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, as we do occasional after hours call outs. This will be rostered to ensure everyone shares the load.
• Competent with mig welding.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Holding a Class 4 & 5 NZ Driver license will be an advantage.
