An opportunity has arisen in Waikato Hospital's Nuclear Medicine Department, for a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist with Class Radionuclide Imaging registration.
Key responsibilities of the role:
• Clinical scanning
• Laboratory radiopharmaceutical preparations
• Image processing

Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:
• A strong patient focus
• Full registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist Board with Class Radionuclide Imaging scope of practice
• Experience in general Nuclear Medicine procedures

Our Nuclear Medicine department is equipped with two solid-state scanners, one of which is a dedicated cardiac scanner, and one conventional hybrid NM-CT scanner. The service undertakes a wide range of functional imaging studies.
