Financial Accountant

If you are an experienced accountant then this is an exciting opportunity for you to join Toyota New Zealand. The purpose of this role is to partner with the business to provide financial accounting support.

This opportunity is permanent/full-time based on-site at our Head Office in Palmerston North and will report to our Finance Associate Manager.

What's involved in the role:

 •  Partnering with different areas of the business to conduct financial reviews.
 •  Completing month end processes.
 •  Fixed assets accounting (tangible & intangible) including additions, disposals and depreciation.
 •  Budgeting and forecasting.

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

 •  Ideally, you will be a Chartered Accountant with 5+ years accounting experience
 •  Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
 •  Proven ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders in the business
 •  Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
 •  Exposure to large ERP systems - experience with JDE is a bonus

If you have less experience, but your accounting experience is varied, and you meet the other criteria and have a fantastic attitude and willingness to grow and succeed we would still love to hear from you.
