About the Role:
As a Patient Watch and Hospital Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff within healthcare facilities. This position harmoniously combines security responsibilities with a compassionate approach to patient care, offering a unique and gratifying career opportunity.
• Starting rate of $26.00 per hour.
• Rotating roster with 8-hour shifts with the ability to pick up additional shifts
• Comprehensive training and a supportive team environment.
About you:
• You will have a full drivers licence and own vehicle
• Available to work on a rotating roster, this includes nights and weekends
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as we require daily written reports
• Full on the job training will be given for each of the sites we work at, and all training must be completed successfully.
• A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to build relationships.
• Quick thinking in challenging environments.
• Physical fitness and resilience to handle stress.
• Successful completion of a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check.
• Possession of a current Certificate of Approval (CoA) or the ability to obtain one.
