Following an internal promotion, we are looking for an Assistant Site Manager/Leader to join our team. If you have supervisory experience, great customer service skills and a passion for retail and food & coffee experience then this role is for you.
If you have relevant experience and are looking for a long-term career this may be the role for you
Previous experience as a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or within the food and coffee space will be highly regarded.
Assistant Site Leaders are responsible for supporting store operations and assisting with leading our teams.
In addition to this you will be:
• A hands on leader
• happy to work in all areas of a retail store/service station and lead a team by example
• Dedicated to building a “customer centric” culture to deliver the ultimate customer service experience every time
• Sharing your product knowledge and experience
• Leading, developing and motivating a team to meet their full potential
• Able to thrive in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain overall store’s cleanliness.
2. Ensure that stock levels are maintained and purchased accordingly as required in at the store
3. Operate check out and supervise when floor gets busy
4. Ensure that goods are correctly priced and displayed
5. Carry out corrective action/progressive discipline as necessary for customers and staff members.
6. Prepare staff rosters and assign staff duties in accordance with store’s standard practise.
7. Schedule and conduct training sessions for all existing employees to improve job skills and product knowledge.
8. Communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers/vendors and agencies
9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints about products and also services
10. Examine returned goods and decide on appropriate action
11. Liaise with owner to determine if there is any special deals
12. Monitor compliance with the health and safety regulations.
13. Such other duties that may be assigned from time to time
At least 6 months relevant work experience required
