About the role:
We believe local knowledge is key, so our training will make you feel like a local in your area!
As an EMS (Electronic Monitoring Service) Field Officer at FIRST Security, you will be responsible for ensuring electronic monitoring equipment is correctly installed and working properly on people in the Community serving a non-custodial sentence, you will attend to locations such as courts, prisons, and residential homes, as required to conduct these installs or call outs.
You will be our first point of contact for any equipment failure, alert activations and you will liaise with our field support team to ensure issues are attended to and fixed quickly.
About the role:
• Fulltime role available
• Hours of work – come chat to us, see what we can work out, work on a rotating roster
• Starting rate is $23.15 moving to $26.00 once fully trained in Field Service work
• Full and ongoing Training provided – Safety First!
• Supportive Team environment
What we need you to have:
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Excellent people and listening skills with the ability to build relationships
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure
• A current full NZ Driver’s Licence is essential
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
• A current Certificate of Approval (CoA) or the ability to obtain one
