Regional Fitness Director - Central North Island

At CityFitness, we're striving to make New Zealand the healthiest nation in the world, and our Personal Training team has a crucial role to play in this. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual, to step into a leadership role for our Central North Island clubs.
The Regional Fitness Director is responsible for the growth and quality of the fitness coaches within their respective clubs. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of trainer recruitment, training, development and quality control.
1. Recruitment
Coordinate recruitment efforts for the region.
Conduct interviews and complete paperwork as needed.
Ensure regular communication with prospective trainers in the region.
2. Quality Control
Assist with any concerns regarding Personal Training Department conduct or performance.
Maintain high degree of communication with Club Managers and Head Coaches to ensure optimal delivery of service and standards.
3. Team Culture and Communication
Establish strong relationships with trainer teams.
Maintain communication with team of Head Coaches to keep updated on issues and performance.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
• Has sufficient fitness industry experience.
• Has relevant ‘multi-unit’ leadership experience, to a regional level would be preferred.
• Is goal orientated and prepared to go the extra mile for their team.
• Is results-driven.
Since our Central North Island region spans from Hamilton to Palmerston North, the role requires a mixture of in-person and virtual connection. For this reason, exceptional communication and customer service will be essential.
