We're on the hunt for a talented and driven full time Sales Representative to join our Manawatu based team.
Based in Bulls, Roadrunner Manufacturing are experts in custom engineering and manufacturing with nearly 50 years trading history behind us. Our enthusiastic team of 23+ operate out of a purpose-built workshop to provide bespoke engineering and manufacturing solutions for an extensive range of aluminium products.
Building a solid reputation for quality and service has made Roadrunner the preferred fabrication company for the majority of truck and trailer bodybuilders and industry aligned companies across New Zealand.
Over the past 49 years our product range has grown from manufacturing diesel tanks and aluminium toolboxes, to an extensive range of air tanks, hydraulic oil tanks, combination tanks and service vehicle fit outs, as well as countless other bespoke aluminium products.
Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a confident, knowledgeable and energetic people-person with proven sales experience who is prepared to work hard to get results. Your main priorities will be building on and further developing existing client relationships, as well as making a name for yourself in helping drive our new business development strategies.
A background in the transport industry and an interest in engineering would be preferable, however getting someone with the right attitude and the willingness to strive for continuous improvement is vital.
In addition to having the right attitude, being prepared to work hard and travel regularly, the right candidate will also possess the following qualities and skills:
• Genuine interest in helping customers with the ability to listen and relate.
• Self-motivated with great time management skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to establish trust and develop strong relationships.
• Good communicator both verbal and written.
• Strong people management skills and a sound business acumen.
• Thrive in a competitive and results driven environment.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to competently operate the Microsoft Office suite of products. (CRM and Enterprise system experience would also be advantageous)
• Ability to accurately measure and help conceptually design customer specific products.
• The willingness to learn and an interest in professional growth.
• Hold a clean full NZ drivers licence.
