PermaPine Transport is looking for a driver that that can work independently, loves a challenge and genuinely enjoys their work.
Due to an increasing fleet, we are looking for a motivated driver for one of our drop side tippers. Work can vary from timber, bulk loads, wool pickups and general freight, so will require a high work ethic and stamina.
Training is provided if unsure about any aspects of the job.
Hours of work are Generally Monday to Friday, or the occasional weekend if you want to get a head start on the week, some overnight stays when required. The job is ideally based in Taupo, but there is flexibility for the right candidate.
This role offers flexibility and variety.
• Learn to drive large modern loaders.
• There is some flexibility in hours, to cater for any family requirements.
• We have work from the bottom of the south to the top of the north, making for a great variety.
Along with experience in the transport industry the ideal candidate will be passionate about the industry and will come with:
• A current New Zealand full driver’s license (class 5)
• A willingness to work hard.
• An ability to remain calm when working under pressure.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with required paperwork.
• A mature attitude, strong work ethic, common sense and a strong focus on safety
• Keen sense of pride in presentation and experience with R&M
