PCL Contracting was established in 2006, working across the civil construction industry. We carry out all forms of civil contracting, infrastructure, drainage, with our niche market being asphalting. We have extensive experience in asphalt, subdivisions, streetscape upgrades and drainage works.
Our longstanding relationships with our clients make us the preferred partner for many.
We are on the search for an experienced operator to work within one of our civil teams in the Wellington region. We have a strong focus on getting the right fit within our team, as our people are the most important part of our business. We generally work Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm, however at times you may also be required to work Saturdays and outside of these hours to help your team get the job done.
To be considered for the role you will need to:
• Have extensive experience in excavator works, such as roading and drainage, with other mobile plant being and advantage, rollers, dumpers
• Hold a current class 1 licence with W.T.R endorsement
• Be competent at undertaking pre start plant checks and with ability to identify issues
• Carry out ground duties such as the use of plate compactors and all physical activities to support your team
• Health and safety minded and understanding of best practice
• Be drug free and undertake a pre employment screen
• Have awareness of environmental requirements
