We are looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join assist with various projects across the Central Hawkes Bay. Based from our Waipawa Depot, you will operate across a range of situations including high shoulder removal, unsealed road maintenance and pavement construction.
Experience in final trim is advantageous but not essential - if you are dedicated and have a keenness to learn, we still want to talk with you! Other responsibilities will include:
• Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
• Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
• Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client requirements
**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**
With an eye for detail and a steady hand, you will be confident in operating heavy grading machinery and delivering quality results. You will also have:
• Minimum Class 2 + WTR endorsements
• A commitment to safe working practices
• The flexibility to work shift work as required
• Have a positive 'can-do' attitude
