Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join their dynamic Operations team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of nanofiber materials, supporting our global leadership in the industry.
You Can Expect:
• $28/Hour + 8% Holiday Pay

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and maintain industrial, pilot-scale, and lab-scale electrospinning equipment.
• Read and interpret instructions, adjust machine settings, and ensure accurate and timely task completion.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Inspect parts and raw materials to meet production quality specifications.
• Maintain production logs, perform data collection, and prepare reports.
• Contribute to production monitoring, improvement, and quality control initiatives.
• Meet production targets and collaborate on the commissioning of new machinery.
• Support the development of maintenance programs and ensure proper working order of machinery.
• Engage with external service providers and uphold health and safety compliance.
Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Quality Management (ISO9001/GMP).
• Ability to work with hazardous materials, polymers, chemistry, and solvents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.
• NZ Resident or Citizen status
