Our main focus is placing people(staff and patients alike) at the centre of everything we do.Thestaff who work at Hospital Dental are comprised of dentists, dentaltechnicians, dental assistants and administrators. The service provides care topeople who are medically compromised, people who have a physical and orintellectual disability and children who need to have their dental treatmentunder general anaesthetic.Weare a tertiary referral centre for the West Coast and Nelson and Marlboroughregions.The RoleWeare seeking someone to join us in a part time permanent position working 8hours a weekYouwill have experience or an interest in developing skills to provide care formedically compromised patients (patients with head and neck cancers andoral-facial abnormalities).

Experience providing implant supportedsolutions for head and neck oncology patients would be preferred. Theideal candidate would also be involved in guiding paediatric and special needsspecialists in tailoring and providing care in patients complex restorativeneeds.You must be eligible for registrationwith the Dental Council of New Zealand to practice.
