Our client services a mixture of Residential & Commercial projects throughout Nelson/Tasman and they’re currently looking for an experienced full-time painter to join their well-established company.
We are looking for someone with a solid background (2+ years) in painting, who is reliable and with a great eye for detail.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
• Completing tasks set by your Foreman Painter within the time frame and completed to a high standard
• Undertaking all aspects of the painting trade from preparation to finished product
• Working in a team environment as well as unsupervised occasionally
• Following health and safety procedures as well as identifying health & safety risks on site and reporting them to your Foreman
If you have some (or all) of the following we’d love to hear from you!
• Minimum of 2 years painting experience
• Own reliable transportation with a relevant license
• Certificate in painting or Master painter Certificate (Preferred) ·
• Site safe passport (we can help to book this in if need be)
• Basic tools (scraper, filling Knife, screwdrivers,
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• MOJ background check
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, but if you have the qualifications and think you have what it takes then get in touch!
