We are seeking reliable people to join the Access team as support workers for our clients in the Taupo area. This is a role that requires commitment, reliability and resilience - Our clients rely daily on support workers being there to ensure they get to experience the best of every day!

We have vacancies for full time & part time work in the Taupo area. We want to work with successful applicants to ensure you can have a great work life balance!

The shifts available vary & include (but not limited to): Morning shifts 07:00 - 13:00

Evening shifts: 17:00 - 20:30
Alternate weekends

About the job

Support workers for our clients must be resilient, strong individuals who are committed to working closely with the clients & alongside their whanau.

Every client has a unique care plan, however duties often include the following: Personal cares - showering, grooming, dressing, urinary & bowel care

Home management - Vacuuming, meal prep, laundry, basic household duties & everyday living support
Moving clients & mobility assistance - hoist use, exercise routines
Travel with client - shopping, attending appointments, community outings, hobbies etc
Childcare assistance for some clients with young families

About you
You are committed to learning & being a reliable member of the team
Have a great attitude - positive, resilient and understanding of our clients and their circumstances - you want to make a difference!
Committed to regular hours - part time or full time
Have your own reliable vehicle & a Restricted or Full drivers license
Trustworthy, honest & have absolute integrity
Physically fit
Experience is not necessary - but a great attitude is!
Must have current eligibility to work in New Zealand
