Opie Contractors, based in Silverdale, are an established civil construction company who undertake a wide range of projects throughout the Auckland region. We have been around for over 30 years and pride ourselves on quality outcomes and exceptional service.
We are currently in a growth phase and are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our successful team.
Requirements:
• Engineering/Construction qualification and proven NZ experience managing land development projects
• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Great organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Team player with a positive and enthusiastic can-do attitude
• Accurate with a strong attention to Health & Safety regulations and Quality Assurance
• Excellent computer literacy with MS Project, Word and Excel
You will be responsible for all aspects of delivering our projects in a timely and professional manner. Coordinating staff, sub-contractors and suppliers, liaising with other key personnel including Engineers, Client Representatives and Council staff etc.
Preparing monthly reports and progress claims.
