The Paradise Hotel & Resort is a 50 room, family owned hotel located on beautiful Norfolk Island in the South Pacific, a 2 hr flight time from Auckland, 3 hr from Sydney or 2.5 from Brisbane.
We are seeking a couple or friends for work on Norfolk Island for at least until after Xmas, but hopefully for a lot longer.
We have a position available for a Food & Beverage Supervisor/Relief Receptionist and another combined role in housekeeping/waitstaff.
Previous experience in the hotel industry would be advantageous but is not essential as training would be provided but an RSA would be needed in both roles and we are seeking people who have had at least 8 to 10 years work experience in similar roles.
An average of a 36-38 work week with two full days off per week but we can be flexible with hours.
Accommodation is provided in an older style 2 bedroom fully furnished small unit at the rear of the hotel grounds. The unit is very basic but has 2 small bedrooms, lounge and kitchen/dining area and bathroom. Utilities excluding phone and internet are included.
Norfolk Island is an external territory of Australia and as such, full working rights within Australia are essential.
If you have the desire for a sea change and are looking to work within a small, dedicated team then we would love to hear from you. It should be mentioned that Norfolk Island is a stunningly beautiful quiet place where the majority of the time people are in bed by 10pm.
There is little night life here but it does not take long to get to know the locals who are very open friendly people.
