Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

You be working within a multi-disciplinary team within the echocardiography service providing a clean, safe and tidy environment for patients and staff as well as maintaining stock levels, ordering and distributing of supplies. You will assist with patient care as required and various other duties to support the echocardiography team not limited to but including liaising with patients regarding appointments.

Mou | About you

Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:

 •  Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
 •  NZ Citizenship, Residency or a current open work visa
 •  Previous experience working in a health care setting in New Zealand
 •  Excellent communication and time management skills
 •  Team player
 •  Computer skills including oracle advantageous but not essential

The Cardiac ultrasound service at Waikato Hospital provides a variety of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures to the local population. Our department is well equipped and performs over 9,000 scans per annum, including adult 4D Echocardiography and paediatric echocardiography.
