Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process, including cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to project managers
• Analyze and evaluate project risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
• Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met
• Attend site meetings and provide input on project progress and cost management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and tools
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
