This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.
About you:
Now, we are looking for exceptional Caregivers to join our Napier village. To be a successful candidate you will:
• have experience in aged care and or have a qualification relevant to the role.
• have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
• be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
• be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).
This is a full-time role covering nightshifts 11pm - 7am with a 4 on 2 off roster.
Additional Information:
To recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer many great benefits such as:
• An enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part of
• $25.39-$29.95 per hour based on your experience and or qualifications
• Weekend rates of an additional 40 percent of the hourly rate
• Time and one half for all work or shifts over 8 hours in a day
• Health cover (if applicable), social sporting teams, meal allowances, clothing allocation and discounts at a
range of suppliers plus much more
• We offer career progression and support for those looking to develop their skills further in the aged care
industry.
