Rooney Earthmoving Ltd is a large family-owned South Island business with work bases in Invercargill, Oamaru, Waimate, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch. We have been around for over 45 years and have become a trusted, progressive brand in the civil construction industry.
We are currently recruiting for permanent roles to join our Oamaru/Macraes Mine team.

Due to our continual growth of local work, we have a need for Machine Operators for both excavators and dump trucks with working attributes including:
• Skills and experience at all types of machine operation.
• Able to work in a team of machines with set procedures.
• Excellent attention to safe operating, and can look after the machine.
• Knows about productivity and acts with a positive attitude.
• Willing to work across different types of construction plant when required.
