The Downer Greenspaces team have a reputation built through having great people, access to first class plant and equipment along with leading edge technology that allow us to deliver to the highest standards across New Zealand. Our teams are professional, focused on delivery of best practice on Parks Maintenance/Horticulture services to our clients and the members of the public.
**A bit about the role:**
As a Mow Operator, you will:
• Be responsible for the Tractor and ride on mowing along with associated vegetation services. This includes general Reserves and Sports field mowing and turf management work on high profile amenities.
• Need to ensure that high quality, timely and planned service is delivered within the required timeframes.
• Also, ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to protect the public, other team members, and yourself.
**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**
We are looking for a team member who has:
• Upfront / Ride-on Mowing or Parks maintenance experience an advantage but training can be given
• Growsafe certification an advantage, but training can be given
• Familiar with electronic data entry or computer experience an advantage
• Minimum Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
