ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client a large charitable trust based in Ellerslie is seeking a junior Payroll Officer to join their busy, close knit team on a permanent basis!

In this role you will be reporting into the Payroll Manager working in a small team of 4. Your primary focus is timely and accurately processing payroll (13,000 employees) end to end, setting up new employees, termination calculations, payroll data changes and query management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 •  1-4 years NZ payroll experience or strong admin/data entry experience
 •  Experience in high volume environments is ideal but not essential
 •  Some knowledge of NZ payroll legislation
 •  System savvy
 •  Accurate and strong attention to detail
 •  Strong numeracy skills
 •  Proactive person that uses initiative
 •  A positive, can-do attitude
