About the Role

In this highly self-directed role, the Territory Account Manager will be responsible for the sales of diverse Fosroc construction solutions ranging from concrete repair, grout, waterproofing, sealants, industrial flooring, protective coatings, and concrete admixtures.

As a highly motivated sales professional you will be joining a world leader in construction solutions and be part of a supportive and collaborative team with management investing in your success.

When not out on the road, you will be based in your home office, planning for the days ahead, booking sales meetings and diligently developing individual gap plans for key growth potential customers. This is a stand-alone role in central and lower North Island in Wellington (Hamilton down to Wellington) However, our team are always accessible and supportive over online measures and occasional meet ups.
You’ll need to be someone with grit, perseverance, and a proactive approach—a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness to thrive in this rewarding role!

This role will ideally be based in either Wellington, Tauranga or Hamilton.

Responsibilities
 •  Expand our customer base across the Central and Lower North Island regions while maintaining key S&S objectives aligned with company standards.
 •  Provide on-site customer service, drive sales, generate leads, influence purchasing decisions, and upsell premium brands, demonstrating self-motivation and strategic activity planning.
 •  Develop and adhere to structured call plans for effective outreach, driving specification through interaction with design engineers and architects.
 •  Monitor and record sales performance using our CRM system, maintaining proficiency in Outlook usage.
 •  Manage an existing portfolio of customers, demonstrating attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Skills & Experience
 •  Proficiency in managing customer relationships, adept at building rapport to leverage existing connections and forge new ones.
 •  Experience within the civil or commercial construction sector is desirable, while not essential.
 •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a keen business acumen.
 •  Thorough comprehension of leveraging data to achieve business objectives.
 •  Demonstrated experience in utilizing CRM systems for analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.
 •  Strong numerical aptitude and commercial insight to propel sales within assigned territories.
 •  Resilience, self-motivated adaptability, and flexibility to navigate dynamic business landscapes.
 •  Capacity for lateral thinking and effective problem-solving strategies.
