About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Yardman to become part of our team in Whangarei. The Yardman is a pivotal role within Culham Engineering's day to day operation, keeping the flow of steel and manufactured items in the workshops and maintaining operations and requirements of the yard.
You will be highly motivated, energetic, quick thinking individual with excellent organisation skills and a high ability to communicate.
What you bring to the role
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
• Current, full drivers licence
• Full drivers licences classes 2 & 3 would be an advantage
• Hold a valid forklift licence
• Rigging experience would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

It is one of the largest fabrication facilities in the country, with 60 years’ experience in the business. Culham Engineering specialises in areas of Heavy Fabrication; ranging from the fabrication and installation of structural steel, bridges, storage-tank construction, to pressure vessels, heat exchangers and piping.
