Chef - Chinese Cuisine

Authenlan Ltd is in Auckland. We are now looking for multiple Chinese Cuisine chefs to join us. This is a full-time role that requires at least 30 hours per week.
This role is to plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food to support our business operation.
Tasks include:
• Working with the manager to plan our Chinese cuisine menus,
• Estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
• Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Discuss food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen staff.
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures for high standard Chinese cuisine
• Preparing and cooking
• Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• Working with the manager for staff selection and training
The successful candidate must have
• A relevant qualification (equivalent to NZ Diploma) OR at least three years of relevant experience.
• Good work attitude and good communication skills
• Strong motivation
• Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload
• Quality workmanship and eye for detail
• Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
• Strong ability to work independently
