AHV (Animal Health Vision) International is the industry leader in quorum sensing powered animal health solutions and value-added advisory services.

AHV New Zealand Limited was the 22nd country to be launched in February 2022 working directly with AHV International to gain global market leadership for the next generation of animal health. We are a farmer first organization which aims to empower farmers with new solutions to naturally optimise animal health, improve profitability, and positively impact their environmental footprint.
Due to the novel nature of our technology, we work directly with the farmer via on-farm visits and data driven tools to ensure success.
THE POSITION
As we enter a new phase in the New Zealand market we are now recruiting for a Territory Manager to join our world class, purpose-driven team, and challenge the status quo in our pursuit of excellence and innovation in animal health and the world.
The Territory Manager role is to consult commercially and technically with farmers in the the South Island, with both existing customers and cold calling. Utilising your background to build relationships with farmers on the health of their herds, you will understand farmers health challenges and consult to provide proactive and preventative health solutions utilising our innovative portfolio centred around Quorum Sensing.

Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing advice and guidance to dairy farmers on AHV concepts.
• Identifying and developing new business prospects whilst maintaining established accounts to ensure ongoing business delivery & growth opportunities are recognised.
• Achieving revenue & client retention targets.
• Maintain and manage an active prospect list of all potential customers in an assigned area that will be called on regularly.
• Working collaboratively as part of a self-organized, decentralized team.
• Complete all customer requisitions in a timely & accurate manner.
• Managing product/stock levels.
• Stay abreast of product developments & market trends.
• Availability to travel locally, regionally and nationally as needed.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.
IDEAL CRITERIA
• Knowledge of, or experience in, the agricultural sector ideally within the Dairy industry
• Previous field sales experience, minimum 12 months
• Exemplary communication skills
• Growth mindset
• Clean Valid driving licence
• IT literate
• Self-motivated with a drive for results.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
