BestStart Russell Street is seeking a passionate Caregiver to join our energetic and tight-knit team.

At BestStart Russell Street each room is uniquely focused on the age and stage of each child within the room. Our environments are aimed at encouraging and extending children's learning, development and current interests. We nurture children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development while providing a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in our Preschool room.

About the Role:
As a caregiver at BestStart, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children, providing them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We believe in fostering a love for learning, creativity, and exploration in our tamariki.
At BestStart, we value our caregivers and provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities. We believe in creating a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone can thrive and grow. Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of Teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki.
Here's what you'll do on a day-to day basis:
• Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
• Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki's learning
• Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary
• Support centre operations at all levels
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must.
You'll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
