We are a small busy cakery and coffee shop, situated On the Peninsula and needing a baker/cake decorator/allround rock star to join the team. This position is for someone with several years experience in a commercial environment. Good understanding of cake making, decorating, baking and slices.
Pastries would be an advantage but not necessary. You must be hard working, reliable, friendly manner with customers and be able to work unsupervised. This is a position for a cake decorator baker, so minimal training will be given. Mostly for operation systems etc.
Duties are but not limited to:
Making breakfast pastries, decorating cupcakes and cabinet cakes, making cakes and slices, decorating cakes, knowing the day to day runnings of a bakery.
A good understanding of English is a must.
Barrista skills advantage but not necessary.
This is a permanent position so no working visa applicants and I am not in the position to support a working visa.
Hours from 34-40 per week - Tuesday to Saturday. Saturday is a must.
Competitive hourly rate dependant on experience.
Must be able to work in New Zealand.
