Our client is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand.?They dominate the Infrastructure, Roading and Utilities industry and are looking for new faces to help them represent the brand they love!
We are recruiting for a skilled Digger Operator to join our crews contracted all over the Manawatu! You will have a keen interest in Civil Construction and be willing to get your hands dirty to see tasks through.
Tasks may involve:
• Reading and interpreting site plans.
• Operating Diggers of up to 20 tonnes.
• Moving and sorting materials across site on varied terrain, general earth moving.
• Maintenance project work - road/pothole repair.
• Beautification projects - roundabouts, pathways, parks maintenance.
• Labouring as required.
Days & Hours:
This position is full time Monday - Friday with requirements of irregular Saturday work. Mon-Fri hours are between 6am-5pm with 1/2 days on Saturday (Typically no later than 2pm finish)
Skills and Attributes:
• You will be dependable and hardworking and be physically fit.
• Health and safety conscious, ensuring the safety of yourself and others around you.
• You will have clear communication skills and be happy to lend a hand.
