About the Role
As a Service Lead, you will collaborate with your teams to deliver excellent support and enable choice and control, with the disabled people we support alongside their natural networks. You will lead embedding Enabling Good Lives principles and ensure active support is delivered.Your area will include services in Nelson and Tasman. Bookable pool cars are provided for your travel. This is a leadership position with between five and seven direct reports.
Service Lead roles are busy and at times hectic. Staffing and other daily challenges means you will need to be flexible, think fast, be resilient and have a great sense of humor. You will receive support from your manager and other Service leads along with external supervision.
It is a permanent full time role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) , Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with some flexibility to respond to the service need.

Our team of 8 Service Leads work in partnership with disabled people, their families, and community to deliver support which enables disabled people to live life in ways that make sense to them and achieve life goals which support reaching each individual - s full potential.

About you
As a Service Lead, you - ll be a leader who hasvision, courage, passion, confidence, and commitment as well as encourages innovation.
You will:
- Hold a NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) Advanced Support, or an equivalent health or disability related qualification as assessed by the Ministry of Health (see link here ).
- hold a Level 5 Diploma or above, or be working towards Level 5 or above in Human Services or equivalent
- be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
You will have excellent communication skills, work based practice and be able to work effectively within multi-disciplinary and cross agency teams.
