What Ever It Takes is a kauapapa Maori service provider in the Health and Disability sector. We apply a comprehensive support structure throughout distinctive model of practice, Ngakau Purotu, to empower whanau to be able to live the best quality life they can while facilitating a pathway to overcome adversities.
We are on the lookout for energetic, enthusiastic, forward-thinking, Kaiawhina Hauora (Complex Care).
The people you will support require guidance towards achieving their Tumanako (goals).
Job Description tasks include:- client management and implementation of complex attendant care tasks in line with customised plans and best clinical practice
- Implementation of Whanau Ora plans
- Implementation of Whanau ora practice and philosophy, through WEIT’s model of practice
- Coordination and implementation of support living tasks and activities
- Participation and engagement in multi-disciplinary meetings
- Data capture, analysis, through WEIT’s unique PRMS IAwhi.
- Maintaining health and summary case records and reporting
- Support with communication requirements, including interpreting, and supporting client / whanau voice
- Facilitation and access to health care services
Please feel free to register your interest if you have:
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: NZQA Level 4 qualification in health and disability or Maori development, or 2 years experience in health, disability or similar field.
Proficiency in tikanga Maori and / or cultural models of practice and demonstrating the influence of manaakitanga and whakawhanaungatanga and the importance these principles play in the journey to recovery is essential.
