To assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food for the cabinet and à la carte menu, following health, safety, and food hygiene standards. The role supports the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and includes some independent food preparation and baking.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Cabinet offering
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety compliance in the kitchen
- Work both independently and collaboratively with the Head Chef
- Occasionally assist in catering prep and events
- Optional: support front-of-house staff if experienced and required,
- Reporting to: Head Chef and Restaurant Manager
Minimum 30hrs per week
Minimum Skills and Experience Required- At least 2 years cook experience .
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good team communication
- Barista or customer service experience is a bonus (not required)
