About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker with strong installation experience to help us
make and install bespoke kitchens and cabinetry. This is an exciting role that allows a quality
focused cabinet maker to get hands on with unique projects and to install to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of cabinet making, installation, technical knowledge, flexibility, and leadership skills. You will contribute to the company's mission of delivering

high-quality, affordable designer kitchens.

The Kitchen Factory Ltd is a Mt Roskill-based company specializing in bespoke designer kitchen

renovations. We have been operating since 2012 and are now stepping into a growth phase.

This role is crucial in delivering high-quality, custom kitchens to our customers in Auckland

and surrounding areas while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manufacture custom kitchen cabinetry to specification using detailed designs.
  • Install kitchens and cabinetry to a high standard, ensuring that The Kitchen Factory
values are maintained with our customers.
  • Interface with customers as needed to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance
with health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and ensure seamless workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
To SUCCEED in this role, you will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a kitchen cabinet maker and installer used to
working with designer renovation projects.
  • Strong cabinet making skills and knowledge of tools, machinery, techniques, and
materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and how to create
unique customer cabinetry.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A team-oriented approach with good communication, leadership and strong problem-
solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn new processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and varied environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of installing on your own with your own tools for installing.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and tidiness
inside peoples homes.
  • A good understanding of health and safety for a production environment.
