- About the role As a key member of our Operational Excellence function, and reporting to the Operational Excellence Design Manager, you'll support the delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to drive cost, service and safety improvement outcomes across one of our biggest business units (Customer Service Delivery).
Your approach will include:Working alongside Operational Excellence Design Manager, lead design of and coordinate ongoing maintenance of CI tools, templates and trainingProviding CI coaching to operational personnel as part of delivery of Continuous Improvement programme of workFacilitating workshops and training sessions to promote CI methodologies implementation into operational work areasWorking across cross functional CI teams providing CI analysis, process improvement and reporting support delivering CI programme initiatives effectively and on timeWorking alongside OE Specialists and operational Process Improvement teams, supporting identification and implementing operational improvement opportunitiesMōu
- About you You'll be an experienced Continuous Improvement Analyst and be certified in CI methodologies (like Lean Six Sigma), and proven experience leading application of these methodologies and tools.
You'll balance this experience with either a relevant tertiary or data analytics qualification.
You'll combine this with: Advanced problem-solving & analytical skills, using data-driven insights to identify root causes and create impactful solutionsStrong training & coaching abilities, mentoring teams at all levels in continuous improvement methodologies to build capability and drive positive changeStrategic thinking & initiative management, developing and communicating initiative pipelines aligned with business goals for effective leadership decision-makingProven ability to drive operational improvements, delivering measurable value and enhancing efficiency across teams and processesEffective decision-making & commercial acumen, managing multiple priorities under pressure while ensuring smart, value-for-money outcomesIt goes without saying but we'll say it anyway, you'll also be a natural communicator who can engage across levels of the organisation, communicate with ease and clarity and build strong relationships (both internally and externally).
You'll also be tech savvy and know your way around MS Office.
